Anathem is a unique futuristic novel from Neal Stephenson, 13 years after his well known masterpieces, “Cryptonomicon” and “The Baroque Trilogy”. The story takes place in Arbre, an earth like planet, the novel is full with new characters, new worlds to explore, new languages that he made up, you will find that the first chapters of the book are a bit challenging and somewhat difficult and it takes you around 150 pages to get the core of the story.

The story also has a deep philosophical values, Neal Stephenson went to the source, to the work of physicists, mathematicians, philosophers that will make it very cool and fun to read, so if you’re a long time fan of science fiction novel, love Greek cultures and philosophy then I’m sure that you will be blown away with how this novel, this is one of those novels that will make you stick until the end.
