During trial Scout, Jem and a close friend Dill witness the injustice where a corrupted system based on prejudice has managed to confine an innocent man guilty of something he never did. This story teaches us about the power of prejudice views of the southern society, it was prejudice that punished Mr. Robinson without any rationality.
